Description
A very rare 356A T1 V-Shape Sunroof. Only around 30 A-models were specified with both the 1600 Super engine option and the V Shaped sunroof out of total of just 127 cars A-models produced with the top-of-the-line 1600 Super engine.
Additionally, this particular car features a very attractive color scheme: Silver metallic with a Red leatherette interior and it has the Beehive taillights. Needs full restoration but a solid base.
This car represents a very rare opportunity to create a unique show car and could be eligible in the GT class for the world famous 1000 Miglia, the most beautiful race in the world!

History
Chassis #57*** was completed at Stuttgart, Zuffenhausen in August 1956 and supplied new as a Left Hand Drive 1956 model through Hoffmann, New York. It was original presented with Silver Metallic body colour and Red interior.

SUBSEQUENT OWNERS: Unknown
Comment: No record of subsequent owners is available. It is assumed the car spent its entire life in California as it was discovered North of San Francisco.

The outside body is surprisingly solid but the floorpan is gone completely. Importantly, the V-shaped Sunroof panel is with the car. -
Interior
Key part of the interior are present, like the front seat frames, steering wheel, some gauges, a shifter and some miscellaneous parts. Hoewever, part hunting will be required. -
Engine
The engine case is present with the car. Again, additional parts will need to be sourced. -
