Built on the 13h of March, 1965 (making this a true MY65 car and one of the first 1,000 Porsche 911's built) the car left the factory in Light Ivory. The car was built for the European market and resided with it's first owner in Germany, where service records on the Kardex/build sheet show it's delivery date was 20. May, 1965.
The car then found it's way to the USA where it remains until today. During it's time in the USA, the car was repainted to Burgundy and the original engine was replaced with an engine from an other 1965 911. This engine is fitted with Weber carburators, which were fitted by Porsche as an factory update kit to remedy a 2500-3000 rpm flat spot in throttle response and the occasional engine fire.
The factory options include, as per Porsche Kardex:
- Webasto heater

Comment: No record of ownership is available. It is assumed the car spent part of its life in California as it was discovered there.
The Porsche-built body is in fair condition with great patina. Could be enjoyed as is or restored to original condition.
Front seats are in very good condition, rest of interior needs restoration work.
The aluminium engine is period correct. As the car has been stored for many years it must be assumed the engine is not in running condition.
The 5-speed transmission is with the car.
